We are looking for a dynamic, career-minded individual to support our company as a Plates Coordinator.

This position is full-time, on-site in our Valley View, Ohio office.

As part of the Plates Team in our Operations Department, you will work directly with our owner operators and terminal network to manage all necessary licensing and registration requirements. This role serves as an important link between our company, our owner operators, and state regulatory agencies, helping ensure all requirements and deadlines are met accurately and on time.

Success in this position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. You will regularly communicate with owner operators and terminal personnel to answer questions, resolve issues, and guide them through registration and renewal processes. Because regulations, deadlines, and documentation requirements are constantly changing, you must be able to effectively manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and responsiveness.

Responsibilities of the Position:

  • Ordering IRP plates
  • Assisting owner operators with filing their necessary annual paperwork
  • Renewing fleet IRP accounts on an annual basis
  • Continuously communicating with owner operators and terminals, responding to issues in a timely manner and providing information about other available services and programs as appropriate

Qualifications & Interpersonal Skills:

  • At least 1-2 years of related business experience required
  • High school diploma required; college degree preferred
  • Transportation/trucking industry knowledge preferred
  • Previous experience with basic accounting/billing tasks preferred
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines
  • Ability to quickly and effectively manage multiple tasks at one time
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to recognize and appropriately respond to tone in phone and email correspondence
  • Ability to interact with a variety of people, including owner operators, terminals/agents, vendors/customers, government agencies, co-workers, and internal departments
  • Team-oriented

Work Schedule & Benefits:

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (on-site in Cleveland, OH)

Physical Demands of the Position:

Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Must have the ability to stand, walk, and sit; talk and hear, both in person and by telephone; and reach with hands and arms to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds.
